The key tasks we’re aiming to get during this month are:

• Lots of interviews with stakeholders to improve of our understanding of sand mining in Kenya.
• Formally launching the project with press releases during World Space Week taking place between the 4th and 10th October 2020.
• Release this website!
• Put together an initial set of user requirements based on the stakeholder interviews.
• Produce an example case study of what information Earth Observation could provide to the sand mining community.
• Complete the work on the background analysis on the landscape and technical position.
